Even if my solution is not the perfect answer to this problem, isnt it time we dare to venture into the business world and change the consciousness? Everyone laments the inability to motivate employees and enlarge productivity to an acceptable level. So, isnt it time to change the way things have continuously been done? I think so. There is no law that says, businesses have to stay the same and operate in the same old ineffective ways they've got been operating for forever. Lets take care of it now. I dare you! Dare to change the consciousness of your business
My New Consciousness Model for businesses outlines how this is often done. At the core of the philosophy is the belief that every employees goal is just as vital as those of the executives, therefore employees and executives should kind a partnership with the core purpose of aiding every single other achieve their goals. This Model outlines a step-by-step process for incorporating a New Consciousness mindset within an association and can be studied in the book, A Different Path, A Different Result: A New Consciousness Model for Businesses, by yours truly.
I do believe that this handing over of power is a conscious choice that every single individual makes, but this choice is made because it's far demanded of us, it's far required of us, and it's far the way it has continuously been done. But I say there is no longer a are looking to do it this way. I say that there is a way that business executives can meet their bottom-line objectives while employees achieve their personal objectives as well within the context of the association.
Why is it that we keep our general philosophy of life separate from our business practices? It is almost as if the application of this to business is off limits. Well, I couldnt disagree more. When I believe something, I believe it whole-heartedly. And I believe that ones philosophy of life should apply to every aspect of ones life. For a very long time, I felt an unease with the separation of my philosophy of life from any business involvement I had, until I finally did something about it.
I was driven by the incongruence of a metaphysical philosophy of life with current business practices. In my mind, there has been something wrong with believing that all men are created equal (beyond the founding fathers and societys sense of the concept) and the current organizational practices of the superiority of some, and the inferiority of others. If one believes, metaphysically speaking, that we every single are self-determining individuals with the power to create our own experiences and direct our own destinies, why is there a seeming are looking to hand over our power as individuals to the bosses within organizations to do with as they please?
